The first and most famous story of The Chronicles of Narnia is a musical! Come witness this unique, enchanted world filled with talking animals and mythical creatures, both good and evil. Join our all-youth cast of 30 as YAI presents this C.S.Lewis classic, filled with lessons of courage, unselfishness and wisdom. Your spirits will soar! HONK! is the musical retelling of Hans Christian Andersen's story The Ugly Duckling! Separated from the farm and pursued by a hungry Cat, Ugly must find his way home. Along his rollicking and harrowing journey he not only discovers his true beauty and glorious destiny, but also finds love and acceptance in all its forms.

YAI's Summer Theater Experience is a six-week, registration-based, non-audition performance opportunity for kids in the Twin Cities. Rehearsals and workshops begin June 24 at First Lutheran Church in St. Paul, near Metro State University. Program meets Sunday through Thursday evenings, from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. (No rehearsals July 1st-7th.) Actors must be 8 years of age by the start of the first rehearsal to participate. Space is limited to the first 15 boys & 15 girls. If registrations exceed the maximum number of spaces, families will be placed on a waiting list. Total cost for the program is only $80, which includes a free t-shirt and photo CD. Scholarships are available upon request.
